164 Vanity Plates

Stephen -

How about CLXIV? (No explanation needed, I hope)
or SPQR? No that might need translating for anybody who didn't study
Latin, earlier in life. "Senatus Populesque Romanus" meaning the Senate
and people of Rome (roughly). There was a thread on this a while back.
I think John H. and/or some of our other esteemed scholars may be able to
enlighten us on other more current (and maybe a bit vulgar) meanings.
Presumably somebody in Virginia has already procured my personal plate,
"VELOCE" which I managed to recently sleaze myself here in Washington.
It's likely not as appropriate for a 164 as other Alfas anyway.
