converting from auto to manual

iosystems@domain.elided
In AD7-955 Anthony Sarkis asks "What do I need to change to convert an Auto
to a Manual G/Box? Driveshaft, Halfshafts, Hub carriers etc.."

Should be about the same as with the Alfettas; if so, no problem with the
driveshaft, halfshafts, hub carriers, etc. but there are some sheet-metal
differences, including the floor where the shifter mounts. The usual solution
is to transplant that part of the tunnel, which requires removing the console
and carpet as well as the seats. Pedal box, clutch master, plumbing, some
differences in the radiator, muffler, exhaust system hangers, wiring details,
but little of great consequence. The automatic cars will have the
self-leveling system, which can be retained or removed; if removed one needs
different springs and shocks.

Best to sit down with the parts fiches- and then compare the parts identified.
