'78 Alfa Spider rear bumpber

My '78 Spider needs a new rear bumper. Cosmetically the car is in great shape 
except for this part.  I looked in the IAP catalog, but the price is way to 
high for me.  I don't necessarily need a brand new bumper either,  just one 
that is in good shape.  My brother in law said he went to a parking lot sale 
at Alfa Racambi in Glendale CA one day (3 yrs ago) and saw quite a few 
bumpers there.  I called the company every month for about a year to see when 
a new sale would be happening.  All I got from these guys was a lot of being 
put on hold, guesses, and a promise to call me (never happened).  Does 
anybody have any suggestions?
