Re the above -

Both LHD and RHD cars are road legal in UK and the rest of Europe providing 
they meet the national standards on safety, emissions etc..

Presumably US motor manufacturing isolationism combined with the safety 
nazis/sue everyone culture wouldn't allow such things there.
