Also check wheel bearings to make sure they are properly adjusted.  A
little too much play might be a factor and will wear out your wheel
bearings.

Also when I worked at a brake shop, sometimes torquing the caliper to
the proper spec with the brake pedal pressed (tighten it first, depress
pedal and slacken and retorque mounting bolts) seemed to help.
