Re: Source for Dellorto jets

Try "Pro-Tech Enterprises" in San Diego, CA.
Phone (760) 480-5742 or 1-888-566-5614. Their
web page is really good too...

They are actually a Harley Davidson shop, but sell
all the parts you need. I have no financial interest
in this company, but do have an emotional interest
in getting your car working as best as it can! ;-)

I have heard from a few people that the results from
this program seem to be a good starting point.

I tried a couple of VW shops here in Sydney, and the
best they could do were jets. They mainly use down-draft
carbs.

I managed to find a local carby shop which had the
180 air correctors, 7772.5 emulsion tubes and 150 main
jets that I needed - it transformed my car.

I love winding down the windows and listening to that
magic induction/exhaust noise when traveling through
(an all-too short!) tunnel on the way to work.

In the past week I have had comments from a neighbour
asking me "if my car had a V8 in it?". A work mate
with a turbo RX-7 also complemented the noise my car
makes.

P.S. As far as reliability of Alfa Romeos as daily
drivers, I can't complain - this car has not let me
down... 50+ miles (82+ km) per day for the last 4
years, both crawling through bumper-to-bumper traffic
and screaming down highways.
