poor running milano

The car: 1987 Milano Verde, 178,500 miles, new O2 sensor, plugs, plug wires,
coolant sensor.

the symptoms: car starts fine, idles well, low throttle openings, all's well.
When still cold, if the throttle is depressed, the car bogs down completely.
One has to back off on the throttle till a point is found where it will get,
haltingly, up to speed. Once up to speed, it runs OK. When warm, acceleration
is much better, although not what it should be. Also, when cruising at 2000-2500
rpm, one can perceive a slight hunting.

I've looked through the AROC Bosch book, articles from newsletters, etc. and
found no cure. Any ideas out there?

Mike, wishing the car ran like it used to
