Stuttering Milano...

Hi all,

I need help with my Milano 2.5.

Upon acceleration (especially with full throttle) my Milano/75
stutters...kinda the same way it stutters at the rev limiter.

It doesn't do it on idle and doesn't do it on deceleration. Only when
the throttle is pressed and especially when I floor it.

First thing I checked was the AIR FLOW sensor...tried another one but
the same stutter.  Then I checked the fuel pump relay, cleaned it, sprayed
contact cleaner, even tried another one...but still the same thing happens.

Then I got underneath and cleaned and tighted the electrical connections
on the fuel pump...again, no dice. Same stutter.

It doesn't happen ALL the time...it does it enough to annoy me and
piss me off...and as far as I'm concerned, even if it does it once...that's
too much.  The car was working flawlessly up until 2 weeks ago when
it started happening.

Has anyone experienced this?  I'm starting to conclude that it's probably
a faulty fuel pump.  I even changed the distributor (needed to anyways)
but that had no effect.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
