re SPICA System

Gents,
I was just catching up on my digests and following the SPICA thread with 
interest.
I recall reading in some early ALFA literature that the SPICA system was 
offered in Europe. The catch was that it was a $5k option (If I remember the 
amount correctly) I am sure this is why we have never run into a euro ALFA 
with a SPICA system. :-}}
