Transmission swap

I have replaced the transmission in my -82 GTV6 with a transmission from
a -89 75 2.0 TS (Milano). From the 75 I also got the speedo and the
speedo amplifier. As I understand that the speedo sensor and the
original GTV6 speedo don't work together, I'm planning to take the PCB
from the 75 speedo and put it in the GTV6 speedo. Will it work?
