Brake switches



Doug Gould's question from #881 triggered a synapse:

When I was removing the pedals etc from my Alfetta, there was the brake
light switch, and then another identical "micro"-switch attached to a
different bracket higher up under the dash. There were leads attached to
the terminals, but nothing to operate the business end of the switch.
Anybody got any idea what this was for?
