Lets see Ferrari is owned by Fiat- who owns Webber. Alfa owns Spica. Why 
would Fiat give money to Alfa when they don't have to?
Mercedes did use a very simular system. And Alfa used the Spica in the type 
33 race cars the GTAm and the early V12 f1 engines.
