Koni Placement

I've noticed on a few cars on the list, and even my own Verde that I picked
up about a month ago, that the front shocks are the ones that get replaced
with Koni and not the rear.  Why would this be?  I probably will be keeping
this settup for some time until finances allow me to add them to the rear.
The car handles fine, haven't really pushed it hard yet, probably after I
finish up the gearbox I'll take it to an autocross.
