1978 Spider
The good:
Red paint in v. good condition.  15" Panasports w/yoko A509s.  Webers, cams,
'74 model header and exhaust (no cat), Ansa tail pipe,  Shankle suspension,
Konis, Shankle fiberglass bumpers on collapsed mounts (looks FAR better than
stock!).  '91 model seats w/sheepskins.  Sump guard.  Roll bar.

A very nice driver.  Very torquey engine; makes great weber sounds.  Looks
more like a 71-74 model than a regular rubber bumper car with the
close-fitted 'glass bumpers.  Has the right 'stance'.

The bad:
Rear window is hazed badly and has just started to let go at the passenger
side lower corner.  Good for the rest of the summer, but should be replaced
before winter.  The rockers have some rust, and there is a small dent just
behind the pass. side rear turn signal lens.

Car is located in the Bay area, but I would consider delivering.  This one
will make it to your house, where ever that may be (unlike some of the other
cars we've all looked at / hear about recently).  Last year I drove it from
Indiana to the Monterey Historics with only a failed U-joint while crossing
the desert.  I still use it for a daily driver, and wouldn't hesitate to
drive it the 2500 miles back to Indiana tomorrow (well, assuming work
wouldn't mind...)

Asking price $4500 / OBO  Might also trade for ??? (I've been looking at
928s and 944s...)

And guys - if you have to know, I've never tried to smog it in CA.  I don't
know and smog guys that well.
