If they're the same thread as a 14mm spark plug, there's a MUCH easier
way to make a plug than using a spark plug. Go to the parts store and
buy a few packs of 14mm spark plug non-foulers. They come in packs of
2, if memory serves. These plugs are supposed to be screwed into a spark
plug hole, with the plug going in the end of the non-fouler to keep the
plug away from a chamber that's getting a lot of oil. Just plug the hole
in the non-fouler with a setscrew, or a decent weld, and you're all set.
No need to bash ceramic out at least.
Non-foulers come in different sizes and lengths. The short, gasket-base
14mm non-fouler would be the correct one. If all you can get is the
long one, cut some threads off. You can also buy more 14mm spark plug
gaskets.
