No doubt, Mobil's change interval recommendation is longer than you would be
comfortable with.

I have purchased many, many gallons of Mobil One.  Yesterday I noticed a new
Mobil One package, new tri-synthetic formula.  I observed that nothing was
mentioned about new AND improved, just new.  Of course the label states that
their oil quality exceeds that of all conventional motor oil, which is not
saying much.

Thinking about changing to Red Line.
