autoforce tester, gtv6 question

well, the autoforce tester that i offered for sale on the digest a long time
ago is no longer for sale. i had the chance to borrow the proper interface
for the l-jet and use it on my gtv6 this weekend, and i can't believe i ever
considered getting rid of this thing.

this device plugs in between the ecu and the rest of the cars wiring, and
takes measurements on pretty much everything relevant to the ecu. it also
allows you to simulate most of the sensors, run the o2 sensor in open or
closed loop mode, lean or rich, etc etc.

the problem i was having was that the car would catch, but not start ('82
gtv6). after detailing all of the electrical connections under the hood, it
only got worse.

i plugged in the autoforce and seemed to get normal readings from pretty
much everything. however, when i switched the o2 sensor to open loop mode,
the car finally started. the car would continue to run when i switched it
back to normal mode, but wouldn't restart without going back to open loop
mode.

my question for any l-jet experts out there is this - does this appear to be
an o2 sensor problem, or perhaps something related to the surrounding
circuitry?

also, does anybody know how to get autoforce accessories like the l-jet
interface?

tia,

bs
