Insider's view of Oil filter quality

Here's a detailed article about the pros and cons of various makes of oil
filter that everyone should try to read. Most of us change oil religiously
and as some have mentioned "you buy an Alfa for the engine, the rest is just
thrown in with the deal" so the question of which make of oil filter does
the job that you pay it to do is very relevant.

I used to work for FR*M/AlliedSignal as the spin-on oil filter production
line engineer.

I've stayed as far away as possible from FR*M filters since I began working
there - just read the article, personally, I would endorse its findings;
link to the article below. And, if you know what's good for your car, boat
or motorcycle you won't use any Fr*m filter anywhere on it.

I also feel that whatever is said about F*rm's oil filters can also
generally be said about their Air filters and Fuel filters (they buy their
auto trans filters from another maker). Remember, I used to work there.
