Re: seek info, 62 giulietta ground?

There was no ground wire on Giulietta tail light assemblies, AFAIK. If you
use toothed washers on the nuts that hold it to the body, you should get a
decent ground. The problem is, after you strip the car of all its trim, and
have it painted, you have a devil of a time getting a good ground without
letting some fasteners chew through that precious coat of paint. Rust
prevention and electrical continuity are at odds with each other. If you can
sneak a black ground wire off the bottom screw and hide most of it under
the rubber mats, you can get to a better ground at either the trunk latch
screws, or the gas gauge sender cover plate screws in the trunk floor.

With the battery in the trunk, you should be able to get a ground cable with
an accessory ground wire that can be a central ground point for all rear
lighting, but of course, this is hardly stock.
