As far as the original system using the mini-York compressor goes, my
experience with it was very brief. After purchasing my GTV6, the A/C
operated marginally for about 5 days until the compressor froze up on
a highway trip. Be thankful the compressor has its own belt!

Upgrading is all 'pros':

- - The Sanden works well with R-134 (be sure to have the system
SERIOUSLY flushed, though!)

- - The Sanden weighs less and is smaller.

- - Allegedly the Sanden consumes less horsepower.
