Milano clutch

Have been having lots of probs with my clutch hydraulics lately and found
the job of changing master to be a real pain in the a**. Feel kind of stupid
in retrospect but finally figured out how to make job a lot easier and
thought I should share said knowledge in case there are those as stupid as
I (not likely). Manual is circumspect and vague about how to remove clutch
master - not easy to access way up under the dash.

1st, get trouble light/flashlight and go under dash, remove cotter pin,
washer and link pin from clutch pedal to clutch master yoke;

2nd, (most helpful part, not well described in manual) remove the clutch
assist spring by simply pushing up on the base end (the small end is linked
to a lever and thus to the pedal, the base end is pivoted in a yoke (actuate
the pedal to see how the spring works)). The spring will sproing out easily
because the bushings it pivots on are just sitting in vertical, upward
pointing slots in the yoke. There's a little spring pressure that normally
holds the spring pivot axle in place but is easy enough to overcome to
remove the spring;

3rd, with the assist spring out of the way, it is possible to remove the two
bolts that hold the spring assist assembly yoke in place and with that out
of the way, it's a heck of a lot easier to get at the allen bolts that
fasten the clutch master;

4th, under hood, remove washer fluid reservoir (one screw at top, loosen one
at bottom, slide reservoir up and out, disconnect wiring & hoses)

5th, now the hose to the brake fluid reservoir can be removed and the outlet
plugged (stuff a rag in below the hose to catch brake fluid that drips
before getting the plug in);

6th, wrestle with the fitting connecting the hard line to the clutch master
cyl and when you get this off, you're done!

And now, if I may quote a famous saying "replacement is the reverse of
dissassembly".

And it only took me three tries to get it figured out :-) !!
