Subject: Electric fuel pressure gauge
I am looking for an ELECTRIC fuel pressure sensor and gauge to mount in my
GTV-6. I would like to mount the sensor upstream of the fuel filter, and
the gauge in place of the GTV-6's clock.
Anybody have any ideas? Sources? Phone numbers?
Thanks!

I have been watching all the catalogs I get without success. Most
fuel pressure gauges will not read high enough for the Bosch injection. I
saw one somewhere, but do not remember where. I gave up on the idea as the
price was too high.
The problem is that you cannot run a pressure line into the cockpit
to run the gauge. That is a fire hazard. The price for a remote sender
located under the hood and the gauge mounted inside brought the price up to
about $100 on the one I found.
If I see one again, I will let you know.
You might be able to build a unit out of an oil pressure gauge. The
range of readings is appropriate. I am not sure about the sending unit
standing up to gasoline. Again, do not use the type the runs a tube into the
cockpit.
