GTB6 H2O Pump Leaking

Replaced my GTB6 H20 pump professionally with genuine Alfa part in a
bag, along with timing belt, tensioner and upgrade to Milano A/C with
R314.  Pump has an intermittant static leak.

I can keep adding a quart of coolant every two weeks or so, or is
Alumiseal or Barr's Stop a possible fix?

Why would a new H2O pump leak?
