Spider fuses

For my '86 Spider Quad I looked in the shop manual where it said that the 14
fuses were 3 at 20 amp, 2 at 10 amp, and the rest 7.5 amp.  But when I look
in my own owners manual or the other spider owners manuals on the Cardisc
CD, they all agree on 3 at 16 amps and the rest at 8 amps.
So, does this mean I get to choose?
