164 front hub/bearing replacement

Anyone have any experience replacing the front (driver's side) hub & wheel
bearing on a 164S?  Would one need a press for the new bearing?  If so can
that be taken care of at a _good_ local parts shop?  I almost choked when I
heard the labor quote.
