12K Service Intervals

Hi

In my (UK model) service history book for my 33 it
lists the serviceing intervals for all models =

available when it was new. For the 33, 75, 164
and Spiders the oil change interval is given =

as 12000 miles, except for the turbo versions
(either petrol or diesel) which are 6000 miles. This
is for a 1992 car, and I think the recommended
oils are synthetic although the API rating is
on SF.

In the UK there are virtually no cars which still
specify a 6000 mile oil change interval with
almost all up to 10000+ miles. Personally I =

change the oil at 6000 miles as oil is cheap =

and engines are expensive.
