CA Non-op

Giving up on the trusty Spider are you Ralph?  Non-opping in CA is
painless as you may imagine from your recent inspection of  the state of
my collection.  When and if you re-register the car the full fee starts
from the regular date of registration.  I had non-opped the GTB6,
registration date say October, and put it back on the road in say March
of the next year.  The fee was from the October date.

Better yet, what are the regs in Texas?
