Hi gang,
I've got one for ya. What do you think the effects are, if any, of
running your car without an O2 sensor for a long period, say 6 months?
In this example, we're talking about a 2.5 V6 engine with Motronic
injection (in Zamani's 155V6 to be exact).
Would disconnecting the O2 sensor make the ECU run it at full lean or
full rich? (I'm guessing the former because if you grounded the
connector, you get 0 volts which means the ECU has to enrichen, until,
well, full rich)
What's your wisdom?
Nizam
