The 430 is the late 4 door derivative of the
Biturbo, still using 2 turbo's but with fuel
injection and the 3 valve per cylinder
heads

In the UK this engine was used in the =

222(S)E, 430, 228 and the Karif. In uncatalysed
form it produces around 250hp @5600rpm
and 383Nm of torque at 3600rpm. For the
catalysed versions the figures were 225hp =

@5500rpm and 363Nm @ 3500rpm For a =

manual car the claimed performance was
top speed >240kmh (>230kmh for the cat
version) and standing 1000m in 27.5seconds.
