My '87 Verde is a Platinum, according to my insurance company.  I've had them 
add into the computer "remarks" that it is really a Verde.  Insurance rate is 
exactly the same as for my '78 Alfetta GT (aka Sprint Veloce) and '57 Spider 
Normale.  And I know it is a real Verde (orange gauges, Recaro seats, 3 liter 
engine, limited slip diffy, ground effects, and wheel mouldings).   Another 
case of Alfa not sweating the VINs too much.....
