I also built a Pocher kit, the 8C2300 Monza. The grill badge (sign) is
supplied as a brass stamped part about 3/16" (5mm) in diameter. Every photo
I saw had colored badges, as Frank suggests. I painted mine! I used SEVEN
different colors of paint applied with sharpened toothpicks. In case you're
wondering, the colors are red, white, green, blue, light blue, pink, and a
clear topcoat. The technique I used was to hold the badge to the top of a
jar with masking tape folded over (2-sided tape would work, too), and then
flow the paint into the grooves of the badge using the toothpicks. I did
this looking through a microscope lens. After the paint had flowed in, I
scraped off the excess to reveal the brass edges of the grooves. The
hardest part was the pink for the little man being eaten by the serpent.
There was no border for the man, so I had to do all the other colors first
and let them dry before applying the pink, so I could scrape off any stray
pink. The clear topcoat was applied as a single drop. You have to have
very sharp eyes to tell that this piece didn't come the way it is on the
model. All told, it took me about 9 months to build the Monza model...

Have fun!
