RE: 105 plumbing



Simon & Dana,

I bought a 69 GTV in Montreal in Febuary 69 and it was set up as Dana
described.  I think the factory used up the old cam covers before switching
to the new ones.  My current 69 Euro has the later cover.  If Dana's engine
is the same as mine, there should be an aluminum "Y" that fits in the bottom
rad hose. The bypass hose from the thermostat connects to this connector.
The upper connection on the water pump is for the heater hose which goes
through the passenger side of the firewall. The heater hose coming out the
driver's side connects to the fitting on the intake manifold which comes out
the side at an angle.  The connection on the rear of the intake manifold
below the carbs on my car goes to the brake booster.

Hope I didn't add to the confusion.
