.2 to .6 inches doesn't leave a lot of room for compression.  check the
manual, last time i checked this type of measurement (it was for an alfetta)
it was supposed to be taken with some level of load in the car, 300 plus
pounds spread across the rear seat and floors if i remember correctly.
