Last Friday, with nightfall quickly approaching, I found myself in a
marginal area of Oakland with a dead Duetto.  As one hour turned into
two, my calls to AAA remained unheeded.  Then, out of the blue, I heard
that familiar sound- and a fellow Alfa owner stopped to help solve my
troubles.   Alas, after some requisite banter and fiddling about, we
were able to get her started and I was on my merry way home.  

So, Joe in Piedmont, if you're reading- thanks again for your help!
