New cams for Spider 1600

My good, old '78 Spider 1600 runs like a charm, and my mechanic says
there's nothing really wrong with it. That's very comforting, but I would
really like some more performance. It's stock in every respect, with
dual Weber 40s.
So, my mechanic suggested a number of assorted upgrades, the most
interesting being a hotter cam. I can't give up streetability altogether
(my brother runs it occasionally, and he drives a F*rd), but I'm no
stranger to high rpms for more performance.
The question is then: What kind of other cams are available for my Spider,
and where can I get them? I see that Rainier-Hurtienne (sp?) has a set of
cams for 1.3-1.6 engines, but no more specs.
Any feedback is appreciated.
regards,
Nils C-:
