"KC" driving lights

In AD7-621 Jim Barrett writes: "On my '82 GTV6, there are the remains
(mounts) of driving lights under the front bumper, and a rocker switch,
marked "KC", mounted at the rear of the center console; would any Digester
know which model and/or brand of lights were offered when new?"

Various Alfa accessories catalogs I have show fog light kits #8651, driving
light kits #8618, and guards #8668, w/prices $70, $70 and $42 respectively on
an early '86 price list. The texts do not mention the brand, but in one of
the catalogs the photos show the protective covers on the lights with CARELLO
in big black letters.

I have seen the "KC" brand name on aftermarket lights, not at a dealership,
someplace more like K-Mart, possibly Pep-Boys but I have an impression that
the place was a bit more down-scale than Pep-Boys usually gets. Probably not
Wal-Mart, K-mart is about my lower limit.

My guess is that Jim's lights were not original.
