Rugh springs

Recently there has been some discussion regarding "Rugh springs".
David Rugh is a member of the Alfa Romeo Owners of Oregon-AROO.
He has a suspension kit for 750 and 101 Alfas that transform these cars.
The kit includes new springs, shocks, and anti-roll bar.  I have a 61 spider
veloce and
have always kept it as close to stock or "factory original" as I could.  I
put David's kit
on my car last spring and was totally dumbfounded!  Five minutes into our
Spring
tour I was smiling so much my face hurt.  It was the smartest thing I have
ever done.
The car is lowered slightly and the ride is slightly rougher over freeway
expansion
joints, but out on the back roads it is truly amazing.
        The other change in my car is the addition of Les Hurlock's spin on
filter
system.  You would have to know Les to appreciate his skills.  His system is
beautifully constructed and works beautifully.
