i'm not so sure - last time i changed my spider tranny oil at glynns shop, i
started to do my usual routine, which is (was) to fill it as much as i could
until oil started coming out, then quick - put in the fill plug to hold as
much as possible inside.

can't remember exactly why, but paul told me not to do that, it was
important to get the fluid level to the bottom of the fill plug hole, but no
higher.  perhaps something to do with frothing, or maybe spewing out the
top.

don't over fill!
