Vintage racer-buy/build

I've seen a couple posts on this and I'll ad my dittos
to "buy" if you can find what you want.  I wanted to
mention that Steve Piantieri, has a neat race car for
sale.  I believe it's a 1960 Spider with a Weber'ed
1600.  It's got lots of neat stuff,fuel cell, lots of
braided lines, remote oir filter, cage, aluminum floor
and most importantly a truly rust free body and great
fresh red paint.  He has never actually raced it or had
it apart, but we've driven it and it is really crisp
and revs quickly.  My guess is the motor has lots of
mods internally. I believe it would pass tech "as is",
for HSR or SVRA.  No spares, but a complete car and he
only wants $8500 for it.  It is located in Orlando,
Fla.

No personal financial interest, but I AM getting tired
of his whining about it taking up space in the race
