What is a "junk" spider worth ???

     I took my "parted out" '74 spider to the scrap yard this morning.
     
     Lets all pause for moment of silence
     ........................................................ amen
     
     Any guesses at what a spider body is worth these days at the scrap 
     yard? ... anyone?, anyone?, Bueller?
     
     Can you believe - $8.99 (what is this world coming to!) It cost $26 to 
     rent the trailer to haul it there! That's would be a -$17.01 cost to 
     me. Plus, I had to bust my A-- to drag the thing on and off the 
     trailer. Geesh :-)
     
     For those who want to see the math:
     620 lbs. (it was picked clean) X $1.45 (per hundred pounds) = $8.99
