thermostate temperature

First, I would like to thank several of you for the tips on finding the
gas odor.  It has decreased substantially after sealing the fuel pump. 
I still have a small odor, but it could be left-over from years of odor.

My car thermostate seems to run at 150 degrees.  This seems too cool
based on my limited knowledge.  What temperature should I be running my
1982 Alfa Veloce Spider?
