105-series head interchange

A friend of mine, Boris, who is currently restoring a Giulia GT, asked me to
post a question on the Digest, since he doesn't have access to the Net.

He currently has a 1600 engine, but he has a spare almost-new head from a
2000 GTV.
The question is: he wants to fit 2000 head to 1600 block, and isn't sure
whether this would be a performance upgrade or downgrade. Both the block and
the heads are original euro-spec.

Does anybody have any experience?
