i still like castrol 5w50 syntec at $4/qt, or 5w50 pennzoil performax at
$3.50/qt - both fully synthetic.

At last years Monterey Historics, the salesman for Motul convinced me to
get some 15-50 racing oil (at half price), stating that it was made with
"esters", and had better lubricity and shear strength. I just bought
some more at Sears Point Raceway, and had to pay OVER EIGHT DOLLARS per
liter.
Is Motul in fact that much better than the ones mentioned below?--Worth
the extra cost?
