Alfa GTV-6 keys (again)

I successfully auctioned the pair of GTV-6 key blanks 2 weeks ago on eBay for a surprising sum. 
I think it was $24. (To the winner: they will be mailed in a day or two.)

I had no idea how rare they were, so I went scurrying back to a local locksmith that I know that 
does keys for Northern California's more esoteric cars. I figured I might find a way to help out 
those in need and maybe make another buck to share with the Welty fund.

Turns out he had one blank in stock that cross references in his book and LOOKS like it will 
work (though I no longer have a GTV-6 to try it on). He said he might be able to get more, but I 
bought the one he had for a whopping $12.

I am looking for feedback on whether the huge demand for this blank was because of the "Alfa 
Romeo" NOS imprint, or are ALL compatible blanks hard to find? If the answer is "all blanks are 
hard to find", the locksmith told me he could search for more, and I would be able to sell them 
direct to Digesters (not via eBay's often insane prices) for around $12.

If you are interested in one, and don't want to pay eBay price, drop me a note, and I'll try to 
locate more.

In case I can't get any more, and because I didn't know what else to do with the one I do have, 
it's on eBay with a nice picture to compare it with an NOS key.
