Spider Dash..thanks!

Thanks guys,

Lots of useful tips on the dash swapping, it looks like it will work -
the only question is the eyeball air vents, they MAY be a different
size. I'll try and measure them over the weekend.

So I picked up my new 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider yesterday, I'm still
gushing, here is whats been done.

* total engine rebuild 1,600 miles ago
* bare metal respray to silver
* new seats, top, mirrors, tyres etc.

Its soooo nice....My 85 Spider is feeling neglected already.

If any of you ARA members will be at Sears Point on Sunday you will be
able to check it out, I'm the tall goofy Irishman with a permanent grin
on his face :-)

Does anybody know of an insurance company who can give this car decent
coverage, Mercury are topping out at $5,500. I know it's worth more a
little more than that (especially when I swap the dashes and address a
few more minor issues). It will be totally babied and not driven in
winter or rain.

thanks

Keith
