Actually, I did just this a couple of months ago and it was very easy.  I
used a breaker bar and large socket on the pulley nut, placed the handle end
of the bar against a large block of wood wedged against the side of the
engine bay, disconnected the coil, turned the key to "start" and immediately
released it.  The starter broke the nut loose on the second attempt.  The
whole process took about 3 minutes.
