Wheels/Tires for '88 Spider

Hello Alfisti,
The snow on the roads has finally subsided.
My spider is definitely thanking me for taking him out!
Just a few questions;
My '88 Graduate has the steel wheels and fake Phone dials. 
I have Pirelli P600 195/60-14 on the rear and 185/60-14
on the front.  I keep bottoming out over bumps on the Oil pan
bashguard.
Is it possible to fit 205/60 or 205/50's on this car?
How about with 15" wheels?
Does this make it harder to steer? 
Or reduce the turning circle?

My real goal is to put 205/50VR-15's on.
As well, does anyone have any of those 5-point Daytona wheels
as on the Veloce models for sale?
Even badly weathered ones will do - I have a dremel!
