Item description reads:

"TAZIO NUVOLARI IN THE ALFA MONZA 1932, 11.5 FT, 2000 LB BRONZE
SCULPTURE. This spectacular 11.5 foot long bronze is a collaborative
effort between Gordon Chism (American) and Francois Chevalier (French).
The sculpture depicts Tazio Nuvolari driving an Alfa Monza in the 1932
Grand Prix of Monaco, a race he won in 3 hours and 32 minutes, ending
Bugatti's dominance of European Grand Prix racing. It was founded in
Europe in February 1988 and was on display in front of the Cannes
Automobile Museum in France until October 1988. It was then shipped to
the U.S. and is currently on display in front of the Historical Society
of Bridgehampton, NY. It is the largest free standing bronze of a car
ever made. The sculpture has a beautiful patina and can be displayed
outdoors or indoors. Buyer pays shipping."
