Air Flow Meter

I have read that V6 Alfa owners can substitute their Air flow meters
with ones from 6 cyl. BMW's.  I was wondering if any substitution can be
done with the 4 cyl. Air Flow Meters? Or does any one have a good used
one they would like to sell?  The Car in question is a a 82 Alfa Spider.
