i'm not sure who greg was referring to (although in general i agree with the
point he was trying to make).  i hope i haven't bludgeoned anybody lately.

fwiw, the second paragraph snippet is important to me.  things that show up
in print, right or wrong, tend to become accepted over time.  i appreciate
being (politely) corrected when i'm wrong, not that i'm ever wrong about
anything ;)

people bullying each other over fuel injection vs carbs, now that's another
story.  i thought that the discussion was pretty civil, but was dismayed to
learn that there were some who were afraid to voice their opinions (and
that's all we got from either side, opinions).
